Offering so much more than the usual caravan experience, the two bedroom Atlas caravan and 1959 Bluebird caravan have been refurbished to a high standard and are both in fabulous private positions on our 35 acre farm in the Marshwood Vale near Bridport. Ideal for relaxation or spending time with your family. Perfect for walkers, cyclists, artists, bookworms, birdwatchers.
Both caravans offer complete privacy separately but are also near each other, making them perfect for friends or family who wish to holiday together. There is a playhouse with a swing, slide and sandpit for children to play on.
Hot water is provided by our biomass burner which is fuelled by hay from our 35 acre farm. We have no livestock on our farm however we keep free-range hens, geese and guinea fowl and always have fresh eggs available to buy.
The 14th-century, thatched Shave Cross Inn is less than a mile down the lane and has a lovely garden. New owners, Joe and Louise, took over in October 2018 and serve delicious locally-sourced dishes and an interesting selection of local ales. Dogs are welcome in the bar and garden. There are numerous and varied excellent restaurants, cafes and bars in Bridport, West Bay and Lyme Regis.
The caravans have comfy recliner chairs to sit in to savour the sunsets and a barbecue/firebowl to cook on and keep you warm in the evenings. We also provide fire extinguishers and smoke alarms for peace of mind. Charmouth Beach is 7 miles away, it is a safe beach for swimming and also great for fossil enthusiasts, a visit to the Heritage Coast Centre by the car park is fascinating too.
